Mirror Dance is a free, online, quarterly magazine of fantasy fiction, poetry, and art. Our first issue was published on March 1, 2008. We value strong writing, unique settings, and characters who represent and respect many diverse cultures, races, ethnicities, religions, sexual and romantic orientations, genders, and gender-identities. Please see our submission guidelines for more information.
Mirror Dance is edited by speculative fiction writer Megan Arkenberg. Megan's work has been published in dozens of places, including Asimov's, Lightspeed, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and Ideomancer. Her work has won the Rhysling Award, the Asimov's Readers' Award, and has been reprinted in Heiresses of Russ: The Year's Best Lesbian Speculative Fiction and Ellen Datlow's Best Horror of the Year. In 2010, she compiled the charity collection Crimethink. From October of 2009 to October of 2013, she also edited the historical fiction e-zine Lacuna.
